It's incredible to me how a small soul can touch your life. With a simple smile, giggle, or expression, they can find a way into your heart. This sweet pea did just that at our session. It is such a special thing when a little being trusts you enough to open themselves up to you...reach out for you to hold them, and more importantly, accept you as their friend. Thank you F family for allowing me to capture your precious baby girl and family once again. I will forever hold that hot summer afternoon in my heart, as we celebrated your baby girl's first year of life.

It is always so refreshing to be in the presence of a family who obviously loves each other. You can just see it, and feel it. There is a happiness that radiates through their eyes and there is an energy that floats on the breeze. This sweet family encompassed this type of joy. Their sweet, baby girl was one of the happiest little people I have ever met. Her presence alone made my heart smile. You just know when you meet a special person. They have a way of drawing you in, a way of making you smile, and a way of capturing you heart. You instantaneously know that they are a gift to the world, while also embracing the thought that they may have the ability to change it in their own way. It is even more exceptional when this person is a small child. This sweet and sassy baby girl is one of my favorites to shoot. She has so much spirit that comes through her eyes and smile. I am honored to have had the opportunity to watch half of her 1st year unfold before my lens, and more importantly, feel blessed that every time we meet, she accepts me as her friend. Blessings.

This sweet, little guy's eyes captured my heart during his shoot. Look at those big brown beauties! Although his day didn't turn out as planned...his schedule was a bit off, and when I arrived he was napping, we still had fun playing up and down his grandparent's steps and capturing a bit of his personality for his portfolio. Look for this cutie in future magazines and catalogues...with those eyes alone, I am sure he will go far!

When this little Jelly Bean's mom contacted me to shoot her first pictures I was so excited. But, when she told me that they would be her first Christmas pictures, I knew exactly what I wanted to do, and got even more thrilled! Could these two sisters be any sweeter? Recently, I went to Phoenix for a U2 concert, and was lucky to be able to shoot these adorable, curly haired, cuties as well. We had so much fun playing in fountains, with bubbles, yelling at the top of our lungs, singing songs, sharing lots of giggles, and exploring the resort I was staying at. Sweet kiddos like these two, fill my heart with such happiness, and bring abundant joy to my work. Thanks M family, for sharing your girls with me, and for introducing me to some new, little friends. I love this little sweet one...she just has such a light about her. She was a gift to shoot, and so peaceful. One of the biggest things about my work that I love is meeting new people, and I am especially grateful I was able to meet this little soul.

After a week of rainstorms, it was such a joy to have this little bit of sunshine in front of my camera. It was great fun shooting this sweet pea (despite my fall UP the stairs, LOL, don't ask) simply because she had one of the best dispositions around...so placid and sugary sweet, not to mention some really cool parents! This shoot was filled with lots of smiles, running, bubbles, and fun. While this little, sweet pea, who was about 18 months old, and her 3 year old sister, simply played in front of my camera, they allowed me to see a glimpse of their bright spirits for the few hours I was with them. As I observe and capture other peoples children, I always feel so incredibly blessed that I am able to simply be in their presence, able to see what the future holds, and grateful that these little beings become my friends, even if it is just for some brief magical moments in their lives.

These are my lifelong, friend's kiddos. These pictures were taken on a playdate with them at the park. I think the older one looks like a mini Chris Martin from Coldplay, and you just wanna squish the baby's sweet cheeks! Enjoy, girly!
