*Awaiting Baby M* Albuquerque Maternity Photographer*

Life is always a rich and steady time when you are waiting for something to happen or to hatch.
~E.B. White, Charlotte's Web~

Any woman who has experienced the gift of life growing inside them knows of the unmeasurable love, worry, and discomfort another expectant woman is enduring. It is one of the many shared blessings that connects us as women. We know the differences between the kicks and hiccups of an unborn child, and we know the daily rhythms of our tiny being even before we look into their eyes. There is something to be said for this connection of womanhood. It is a bond that goes deep and that transcends history. Becoming a mother connects not only an infant with it's family, but also connects a woman to a deeper coterie...a universal band of kindred hearts and experiences, which in reality, offers the universe a new hope for the future.

Thank you M Family for opening your hearts to me and my camera. I am excited to share this incredible journey with you all. Blessings.

*A little bit of pretty*

As many of my customers and friends know, I am an Etsy addict. I am known to spend hours just drooling over the talent and whimsical creations from the artisans there. So, when I stumbled upon this store I fell in love with their items. Just look at these, and tell me that you wouldn't love to have one of these beautiful mobiles in your baby's nursery...heck, I may just buy one for a someday grandbaby. LOL. Enjoy!

*Just for my own Inspiration* Albuquerque Photographer*

~Morning Ritual~

~Beginnings~

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time
~Thomas Merton~

Since I started shooting professionally this past year, I have been so encompassed in capturing my customer's lives that I have completely neglected shooting for myself. Often I will observe great light around my house, or see a perfect shot in my mind and just simply take a mental image. I don't take the time to get my camera out of the bag and shoot what my heart wants. So, in order to give back to myself a bit, and to embrace inspiration, I decided to take a 30 day photo class hosted by Big Picture Scrapbooking and Tracey at Shutter Sisters. Everyday, we are given an assignment. Instructed to look into your heart and meditate on your life, you are then to spend time with your camera. These shots are my interpretation of "Morning Rituals" and "Beginnings." Check back to see where inspiration leads me on this journey. Blessings.
